Our story
Aldealix is a faithful recreation of a Celtic hillfort in the heart of the Sierra de Gredos mountains: 14 pallozas — traditional stone-and-thatch roundhouses — a 13th-century medieval mill and an 18th-century shepherds' shelter, all surrounded by oak forests, crystal-clear mountain gorges and skies free of light pollution.
Since 1990, families, schools and groups have chosen Aldealix to experience nature the authentic way. There are no screens here: there is fire, starlight, adventure and real community life.
The village
This is no museum: it's a place where you sleep, eat, play and learn the way the Celtic peoples of the Iberian Peninsula once did.
Conical stone-and-thatch roundhouses rebuilt following Celtic tradition, with room for groups.
A restored historic building that forms part of the village's living heritage.
A restored space for gatherings, games and group activities.
Direct access to crystal-clear rock pools for swimming and water activities.
