Experiences · Summer
The summer they'll remember for the rest of their lives: days of adventure, crystal-clear rock pools and nights round the fire in a real Celtic village.
The experience
Since 1990, every July the village has opened its gates to boys and girls aged 8 to 17 who come to experience something that exists nowhere else: sleeping in stone-and-thatch pallozas, swimming in a mountain gorge and becoming, for a few days, inhabitants of a Celtic hillfort.
There are 10- and 15-day sessions, so every family can choose the length that suits them best. In both, the main ingredient is the same: genuine community life, adventure deep in nature and a group of friends that many keep coming back to, summer after summer.
There are no screens here and no rush. There are oak forests, star-filled skies and camp leaders who have spent years making Aldealix a safe, warm and magical place.

What's included
A complete stay in the village, with no small print. For specific dates, sessions and terms, see the booking system.
Campers sleep in the village's authentic conical roundhouses, organised by age group and always accompanied by their leaders.
Qualified leaders who know the village and the sierra like the back of their hand, with close, caring attention around the clock.
Good old-fashioned camp cooking, made to refuel after a full day of outdoor adventure.
Morning, afternoon and evening activities throughout the stay: adventure, water fun, big group games and evening shows.
Every camper shares activities and a palloza with boys and girls their own age, from 8 to 17.
No screens, no distractions: days full of nature, friendship and play — the kind of summer you remember for life.
Day to day
Every day is different, but they all share the same rhythm: activity in the morning, water when the heat kicks in, big games in the afternoon and magic when night falls.
At dawn
The first rays of sun slip between the pallozas. Wash up, breakfast together and the day's plan handed out.
In the morning
Climbing, zip line, hiking, archery or big group games: the day's main activity, always by age group.
At midday
A swim in the rock pools to cool off, a home-cooked lunch and a quiet spell in the shade of the oaks.
In the afternoon
Water games, sports, climbing or getting the evening show ready: every afternoon has its own plan.
At nightfall
Legends, theatre, night games and a campfire before heading back to the palloza to recharge.
Featured activities
These are some of the activities that fill the summer sessions. The programme is adapted to each group and each age.

A crystal-clear mountain stream runs right past the village: swims, jumps and water games in the heart of Gredos.

A breathtaking flight between oaks and rocks. Always with harnesses, helmets and specialist instructors.

The granite walls of the sierra are the perfect school for a safe introduction to climbing.

Aim, calm and focus on the village archery range, just like the ancient inhabitants of the hillfort.

Paddling days on calm waters — discovering the river as a team and cooling off along the way.

When the sun goes down, the village fills with Celtic legends, theatre, music and big games under the stars.
